what a way to end the season - thats not been all that good -but scenes at the end of this game that matched those saw against harlow in the play off final two seasons ago.
town did it the hard way today coming from behind twice and scoring the winning goal almost in the last minute of the match ,cheshunt took the lead in the 19th minute when jason hallet headed in from a corner, but with in one minute witham were level with a terrific strike by SCOTT KEMP, but cheshunt came straight back into it taking the lead just two minutes laterwhen john frendo scored after hesitation in the home defence.

five minute into the second half witham were back level when NATHAN KORENTENG scored with a powerful low shot and set up a good final end to the game in which witham played there best football and it took until almost the last kick of the game when after constant pressure on the visitors goal SCOTT KEMP won a race with james may the visiting goal keeper and lofted the ball high goalwards where it took one bounce and were into the net meet by celebrations not seen at spa road for a few seasons now !
