the first half was dull,with no goal mouth action and there seemed to be a contest for who can kick the ball the highest and furtherest .
but all that changed in the second half ,when with in a minute of the restart ALEX ANDERSON put witham ahead with a shot from the edge of the area ,and continued to attack the swifts goal,and were rewarded with a penalty after a hand ball decision, but towns ex keeper danny sambridge dived the right way and saved easy from usman adenijis spot kick, and for a while witham were controlling the game. how ever in the 60th minute heybridge equalized when reece grant scored with a low free kick all along the ground -what we used to call a daisey cutter and swifts took the lead when stefeno mallardo scored from close range just four minutes later.witham used all there subs to no advantage and late in the game glen little scored a third and witham fate was sealed.
