two very late goals made the scoreline look what witham deserved as in the first half they should have built up a commanding lead but once again were guilty of missing some good chances, after good build ups, but take nothing away from the home side although low in the league but with some new players in the team made witham work hard for the points .
the home keeper ashley bourne was called into early action saving a header from paul king but after 10 minutes witham took the lead from the penalty spot after a foul on dean green with james stevens scoring from the spot kick.it was an exciting game with good football from both teams with chances going begging at each end, in the 51st minute the dered leveled things up when the unfortunate seb murfit powerfuly headed in a own goal when under pressure . the home team strikers were fast and furious and witham defence was put under presure by the new strikers in thier team. how ever witham went back in front when kris newby scored with a shot into the top corner -a tremendous goal- martyn guest withams keeper made a great flying save to keep witham in the lead . two late goals in time added on secured the points a great solo run and finish by danny emmanuel and another great finish when micheal begg making his debut headed in from a perfect cross from kris newby
