Withycombe Rugby Club is thrilled to mark its 100th anniversary with a special commemorative flower display, created in partnership with Exmouth in Bloom. This vibrant tribute not only celebrates a century of rugby excellence but also highlights the enduring community spirit that defines our club.
The flower display is a testament to the dedication and passion of our club members, with special recognition given to Dave Josey and Peter Farley, whose combined service to the club exceeds 100 years. Their unwavering commitment has been instrumental in shaping Withycombe Rugby Club into what it is today.
Joining Dave and Peter in this celebratory project was our promising junior player, Lewis Gale. His participation symbolizes the bright future of our club, bridging the legacy of our past with the potential of our next generation.
This collaboration with Exmouth in Bloom beautifully represents the harmony between sports and community, and we are incredibly proud of the result. As we look back on a century of achievements, we also look forward to many more years of growth and success.
If you'd like a closer look at the beautiful arrangement, you can see it outside the railway station.
