After a week off, we return this week with a trip down the A38 to play Ivybridge IIs.
We’ll be hoping to continue the steady progress within the side and hope to keep the current winning streak alive following our 15-0 derby day victory against Exmouth IIs. Dave Richards’ try before half time alongside a Tom Cooke penalty and a penalty try earn the points in a packed Raleigh Park.
With just the three changes to our starting XV this week, consistency will hopefully reap its rewards for the boys as the team cohesion builds.
However, they can be sure that they’ll have to work hard for that win as we can expect a tough game from Ivybridge, who currently sit seventh in the table following a 07-31 win away at Devonport in their last match. Before that they were only narrowly defeated 24-26 at home to Torquay.
This should be a good game for all those that make the journey down to cheer on the boys, so we can’t wait to see you - your support is always greatly appreciated!
Kick off is at 3pm from Cross-in-Hand in Ivybridge. The postcode for those coming along is PL21 0LR
