It’s third versus fourth this weekend as the Withies take to the road to play Torquay Athletic.

Withy go into this weekend’s game in that third-placed position after their impressive 22-12 win over Tavistock. A strong team performance lead to tries from Chris Gibbons, Max Cooke and a penalty try with five additional points from Harry Symons.

With just a two point gap between us in the league table, fourth-placed Torquay have also had a decent campaign so far, although a hiccup last weekend saw them slip to a 17-11 defeat away at Devonport Services II.

Looking at head-to-head fixtures between us and The Tics, we know that we are guaranteed a good, tough game and will need to work hard for the win. Last season saw a mix of results with us winning 36-0 at Raleigh Park, but Torquay winning the return fixture 38-8.
With just three changes to the side from last week’s game, we know we’ve got a side that is growing in momentum, making this a game not to be missed.
