Withies Finish on a High - 100% on Tour Part II

As anticipated Launceston started strongly showing great work at the breakdown quickly rucking over to secure ball. The touring Withies soon found themselves a try down which proved to be the required wake up call after possibly limited sleep the night before. The boys competed well and slowly fought back in what was yet another very close half of rugby against capable hosts. 7 : 5 to Launceston at the break.

With momentum rising Withy started to really fire on all cylinders, gelling well as a team, focusing some on pitch frustrations. The second period was all Withycombe with a further 5 tries scored to "Lansons" reply of 1. This was to be the last game of the season for the U13s and they finished in some style, competing with aggression at the break down and set pieces, letting the ball do the work through the backs.
