Witton return to the U Lock It Stadium on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Clitheroe in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.
The Lancashire club are in a similar situation to Witton in the table and have struggled for consistency.
The two teams are separated by two points with Clitheroe one place above Albion in sixteenth place and have played two games fewer.
Three draws and a defeat from their last four games including a hard-earned point at Kidsgrove, sees Witton without a win since early October when they won at Stafford Rangers, but they haven’t won at home since defeating Mossley back in September.
Clitheroe have progressed in the Isuzu FA Challenge Trophy and beat Premier Division Stockton Town in the last round.
The two meetings between the two teams last season both went in Clitheroe’s favour, a 4-0 win in Lancashire followed by a 2-1 success at the U Lock It Stadium.
Of the previous eight meetings, Witton have managed just one win back in 2024 - a 3-0 success at Clitheroe, so they will be hoping that changes this time around.
A tough game is to be expected with both teams looking to climb the table.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.
