Wivenhoe made 224-7 first up largely down to Tom Durrell who scored 72 and an emotional and poignant knock from Ryan Savill who made an unbeaten 55.
Joe Nicholls then removed both openers as Wivenhoe bowled Coggeshall out for 87, with the rest of spoils being shared - Tom Durrell and Driaan Bruwer picking up two wickets a piece and skipper Harry Burnett three.
Meanwhile, the 2ndXI suffered an eight wicket defeat against a strong Witham side. Winning the toss and batting, the twos lost four wickets with just 12 on the board but an unbeaten 85 from opener James Handscombe helped the home side reach 180 off its 45 overs.
