Big thank you to everyone who came along or supported the Junior Club Extravaganza on Sunday. We made around £250 which was a bonus as it was more about getting people together and attracting new members.

We had over 200 juniors on the pitch and 23 new players across the age groups. Thanks to Claire Emes on the information stand for recruiting some parents into coming to adult training - Brilliant!

You all baked / bought a generous lot of cakes (thanks to all the adult teams as well) and the BBQ was going from 10am - 7pm (special mention to Chief BBQ team Chris Heney, Nikki Eyles, and Luca Bernabo) . Burgers and sausages were delicious and provided at a discount to the club from Prince & Son in Horsell, and salad from Boz's Fruit and Veg.

Hopefully nobody was sick after all those sweets and the excellent up-selling of cakes at the end of the day by Emelia Emes and Phoebe Schollick.

Well done to Will Coney (U14 boys) for winning the "Guess the number of sweets" competition. He guessed 246 and the correct answer was 247.

Alison Grice and Sophie Facey were amazing on the face paints, as well as the team providing teas and coffee in the kitchen.

Lots of people have messaged me to say thank you - couldn't have done it without the help of Andy Kerr (Junior Chair), all the Senior Coaching team and Cadet Coaches, AGMs, Jamie Pinder and all the volunteers that did a stint on a stall.
