Our first outing in the new home kit ended in a fairly comfortable 3-0 win against AFC Egham.
The first half was a pretty even affair and although we had the two best chances, Division 2 Egham more than held their own. Just before half-time we took the lead in fortuitous circumstances as Giles Smith's deep set piece evaded everyone before bouncing into the far corner.
We had early chances to add to our lead in the second half, but then a lovely pass by Andy Moore found Charlie Elliott who slotted home his 3rd goal in as many friendlies against Egham.
Charlie then turned provider to set up Tom Frost who's well struck shot beat the keeper who will think he should have done better.
Ryan Pardo- Roques was called into action a couple of times, but we really ought to have added one or two more late on as the visitors tired.
A good work out overall. Best of luck to Egham ahead of the new season.
