3 league games and 3 draws. Having accumulated 3 draws in total in the 3 seasons prior to this, it is quite the statistic.

In team news Josh came in between the sticks, Morgan made a debut as past of a back 3 with Ell returning from injury and we had Jack in the squad for the first time this season. Ash lead the defensive line, allowing Oli to go back into midfield.

Sheers were the better side in the first half without creating all that much. They took the lead from a corner midway through where our attempts to switch markers mid delivery seemed to cost us somewhat.

Josh slid out well to deny a 1 on 1, while we came close twice, but both were near own goals as their keeper made smart saves.

We changed shape for the second half and it certainly worked from an attacking point of view. Sheers though had the first chance of the half, but their striker headed wide.

Harri found Luca with a brilliant switch and although his first touch was superb, Luca's finish was unusually wild as he sliced over. Zammo had a good half volley tipped over, a header from Luca's fine cross very well saved and also fired just wide from 8 yards out.

Josh showed safe hands a couple of times, but as the half went on it only really looked like one team would score. Thankfully the goal eventually came in the 88th minute. Luca swung over a corner and Grouty leapt and found the roof of the net with a typical header. A great way for Grouty to mark his 100th appearance in our colours.

We had a couple of corners to deal with and Harri made an important tackle in the area, but in the end it finished 1-1. On the balance of play it was probably a fair result, but as with the Wanderers draw we can look at the chances created and feel slightly disappointed not to have scored more goals.

Once again we showed good character away from home to keep going until the end and get our reward. Further positives were a sound defensive showing with Morgan impressing on debut, Ash controlling the back 3, skipper Ell back in action and Jack turning in a solid display on his first outing of the season after coming on at half-time.
