Cassies put in a polished performance Saturday & found the scoring touch with a 6-0 rout against Wem Town. With a quick turnaround on Tuesday, we’ll be looking to make it back to back wins before we face two tough away games.

Effectively this is one of our games in hand as pretty much everyone in and around us have a free week before we go into Saturdays fixtures.

Dudley Sports fixture Saturday against Wednesfield was a victim of the weather. Although they didn’t go without a game having played Lye Town in a last minute friendly.

Sports recent run of form has seen them lose the last four games. Defeats away to Smethwick & Wolves Sporting we’re followed up by a home defeat to Wem Town & a Derby Day drubbing to Dudley Town last Friday. Fortunes must change sooner rather than later, we just hope it’s after the visit to Cassies. Sports have rebuilt the majority of the squad this season, most recently with Jake Brigdale & William Tibbetts. So we know they pose a threat going forward. With Stourport Swifts having no fixture, we’ll also expect the Hanson’s to be apart of Sports squad tomorrow.

After our only defeat we have responded with 7 points from a possible 9. Tomorrow is a great opportunity to close the gap on the top three who in there own right are all showing no signs of slipping up so we must keep pace.
