We take another look at the players who competed in the club's inaugural season.

In our final part we look at a key defender, a key striker, and the manager who rolled back the years.

Jak Rennison

The left back was an important part of the club's first season and scored twice in 18 appearances. The first direct from a corner against New Bohemians and another at AFC Dronfield while the team were down to ten men.

Bartosz Roda

goalkeeper Roda had to be patient before getting his chance, but helped the side win the league in the final four league matches of the season. Roda started five matches and appeared from the bench another four times.

Karl Rose

Manager Rose preferred to watch from the sidelines, but when called upon he put his experience on the pitch. The 40 year old striker turned centre back played in five games in total.

Chris Sheldon

Another goalkeeper who appeared for the side during the season, making two appearances from the bench.

Ryan Smith

The pacey winger or striker was duel registered with Penistone Church, but made a huge impact for The Wellers and scored twelve goals from 11 starts and a further three from the bench, including a hat-trick at Thurcroft MI.

George Westwood

Player's Player of the Season George Westwood grew in confidence as the season went on and became a crucial part of the defence. Westwood only scored twice (with a third taken away due to the resignation of Caribbean Sports Reserves) but both proved vital in the club's challenge for the title. Goals against Stocksbridge Park Reserves and Sheffield Union gained a point in each game against the challengers who finished second and third.

Aaron Whitehead

The defender was named as a substitute for the club's opening game at United Worksop, but failed to make an appearance.

Elliot Wilson

The young striker joined from Gainsborough Trinity and scored in his only appearance against Hall Green United before returning to the NPL club.

Callum Wood

Another young striker who proved to be a game changer with seven goals from four starts at 14 substitute appearances.
