As you will probably be aware, the new NHS COVID-19 app was launched this week.
The app, designed to track the location of positive coronavirus test results, will alert users if they’ve been near other app users who have tested positive for coronavirus.
As a sports and leisure business, the Club is obliged to ask visitors to “check in” via the app. To this end, we are now displaying the relevant QR code at various locations in the clubhouse.
The QR code posters can be found in the entrance hall (on the left display cabinet), the main bar (on the wall to the right of the - now cordoned-off - service hatch) and the small bar (on the door of Susan’s office).
The app itself can be found in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Simply search for “NHS COVID-19” or “NHS Test & Trace” and download it to your smart phone.
We would encourage all visitors to the Club to avail themselves of this valuable service as it will help everyone to protect their family and friends in an efficient and simple way.
Members without a smart phone will be required to use the signing-in book instead.
