Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we follow the ECB’s Safe Hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children.

If You Have a Concern
If you are worried about a child, young person, or adult at risk:
- Report it immediately to the Club Safeguarding Officer.
- If they are unavailable, contact the County Safeguarding Officer or the Cricket Regulator Safeguarding Team.
- If someone is at immediate risk, call 999.
The Cricket Regulator provides both proactive and reactive safeguarding support across the game.

Creating a Safe Environment
We ensure:
- Appropriate coaching ratios
- Safe use of changing rooms and shower facilities
- Clear rules around photography and social media
- Safe transport arrangements
- Proper supervision during training, matches, and away trips
