Safeguarding

Safeguarding at Worcester Park Cricket CLub

At Worcester Park CC, we are committed to ensuring that everyone—especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults—can enjoy cricket in a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we follow the ECB’s Safe Hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children.
If you ever have a concern, no matter how small, please speak up. We’re here to help.

Our Safeguarding Commitment
We will:

  • - Ensure all children and young people have the right to have fun and be protected from harm.

  • - Follow and implement the ECB Safe Hands Policy.
  • - Appoint trained Club Safeguarding Officers (CSOs).
  • - Ensure all coaches, managers, and volunteers are appropriately vetted and DBS‑checked.
  • - Promote clear Codes of Conduct for players, parents, coaches, and volunteers.
  • - Maintain clear and confidential reporting procedures.
  • - Encourage children and parents to share their views and raise concerns freely
