One young cricketer showed his true potential this weekend, hitting his maiden senior half century with one of his hero's cricket bats.
15 year old Luke Sapey won Surrey and Pakistan international cricketer Azhar Mahmood’s cricket bat in the raffle at last seasons cricket dinner. While initially too large for Luke to use, this season has seen Luke break in to the Saturday 3rd Xi league side, and this weekend hitting 64 not out for the Sunday academy against Morden CC.
