Message from our President

I am the current President of the club and one of the founder members. We set this club up as a group of close friends and this atmosphere is something we have worked hard to keep in the club. We have a very open and inclusive approach to the game and all are welcome at Writtle, regardless of their ability or experience.
Whilst the club continues to develop, and new generations of players emerge, it is very important to us all at Writtle that this ethos is upheld and that Writtle Wanderers maintains the excellent atmosphere which has made it the club we love today.
As Disciplinary Officer I am, happily, called into action relatively rarely. That said, discipline is something we take very seriously at the club as all players are aware. Self-control and focus are important aspects of the game and we are keen to be proactive in assisting players who might have problems in this direction (ahem Zak!).
