German Uefa-B coach to coach Tigers

Uefa-B coach Thorsten Vekens - a friend of the club's board is to visit England from Thursday until Sunday.

Thorsten is a friend of Chairman Ed, and helped host the U18s pre-season tour to Cologne last August.

Thorsten is to attend the trial session for next season's U17s team at Hazlemere Rec this Thursday (26th Feb) from 16:00-17:30, as well as run training sessions with the U17s from 18-19:30 and the U18s from 19:30-21:00 at Davenies school.

Thorsten will also help in the warm up and will give feedback to the teams at their games this Sunday - both at home, at the Rye.

The U17s play Chalfont St.Peter in the sub cup - and require a considerable goal difference to progress to the semi finals of the competition. Kick off is at 10:30.

The U18s face Martin Baker Youth, of division 4, in the quarter final of the plate, kick off at 14:00.
