Cup and Trophy Success

Both the Under 9’s teams gave it their all today.

The Whites match against Melthan was a hard fought battle but the players kept going to the bitter end and came out victorious.

The Blacks dominated their match against Phoenix and came away with a well deserved win.

Both teams are now through to the last 16 in their respective groups. Well done to all the players.

Thanks to both away teams for creating an exciting and friendly atmosphere. Both games were played in good spirits and great encouragement was shown to all players from both home and away supporters.

Meltham Coach - “It was really good to come over. Even though we lost I was buzzing after watching such a close game and everyone of the kids enjoying it. Good luck in the next round.

Phoenix Coach - “Thanks for having us. My boys enjoyed themselves even though your kids ran away with it, and deservedly so. Thanks for letting us play extra players near the end too, it meant they all had a lot of time on the pitch, that’s what it’s all about at this level. Best of luck for the next round, I’m sure they’ll go far. Look forward to more development games, I’ll keep you in mind too”.
