Wyre I v Fylde II (Away) Wyre II v Kirkham and Wesham II (Home)

Our second team lost out to Ingol 2nds last week, while the 1st XI had a week off. This week, both teams are back in action!

Injury-wise, Marcus webster has recovered from a sore thigh, and David Lever is selected for the 2nd XI as he battles through a back injury.

This week's Matches:

Wyre v Fylde II (Away - Moorland Road)
Wyre and Fylde II's seasons have had very different starts - Wyre sit atop the table with 2 wins out of 2, and Fylde sit at the bottom of the table having failed to secure their first win in the competition (although they did beat Walton-le-Dale 2nd XI in a friendly), their first innings of the season being an unfortunate 15 all out against Blackpool IV.

Fylde Batsmen to look out for are Imran Ali and Andrew Sykes, who have top scored with 53 and 45 respectively this season. Bowlers to look out for are Theo Slade, who took 3-5 against Blackpool, and Danny Smith who took 4-7 in the friendly.

Wyre are back to full strength after resting some injuries, and hopefully our winning streak will continue!
