Bramley turned up a man short for this local derby and Yarnbury stepped in to lend a hand with a series of our good young players pulling on their green shirts. In a close fought game Yarnbury took an early lead. With exchanges of tries throughout Bramley regularly levelled the score only for Yarnbury to retake the lead. With the ball moving the full width of the pitch and keen tagging from both sides the game was tense for the watching supporters. With Yarnbury able to regularly sub players their freshness told to take a 3 try lead into last few minutes. As the decent young players from Bramley played to the whistle and got on with the game their coach could not follow their good example and constant talking back to the referee saw an early end to another good performance from the under eights.
