The Orton Ospreys side have been morphing from Peterborough Touch and had their A team including Yaks guest John Cranston out for this one.
Despite going into the game with the much needed confidence boost of a win over Peterborough last time out, the Yaks came unstuck early and were always chasing the game without quite getting a foothold.
Ospreys needed a win to cement their place in the top tier when the league split. Yaxley were looking for a good win and some mathematics to see if they could make it.
However, Orton deservedly made their way into the Championship league for the final weeks of the competition whilst Yaxley drop into the Plate series.
