Match report by Murrary Rorison.
Last time these two teams met it was a 4 all thriller , so there was a lot of anticipation for this one.
It was one that delivered on the build up from the start the Yaks pushed forward using their tried and tested plays.
One of which saw Murray dive for the line only to be denied by a faint touch. It was followed by some good driving play from Nat Riddler to Donnie Carpenter. Ryan Moore led the Yaks up the field gaining 20 metres to a lay off to Murray who darted over the line , to throw a looping cross ball to Barry who scored to put the yaks in the lead.
Yaxley played controlled touch rugby for the remainder of the half.
In the 2nd half the game was nip and tuck and with Yaks tiring with only 1 sub (BGL had 8!) the opposition broke through the line to level it up and take the draw.
