This was a very close game throughout, with the lead changing hands constantly In the first three quarters. With both teams having lost their first fixture the week before, neither team wanted to make it two in a row. The game was fast and furious, with the defences on both sides coming up with numerous interceptions.
The third quarter started with a score of 31 - 30 in Yendys favour.. It was at this stage that the Yendys girls gained the upper hand. The speed of the game had been relentless, but Yendys took advantage as the Worcester side faded just slightly and they ran out winners by 46 goals to 37 to register their first win of the new campaign.
