Have you heard of Heja?

By Richard Baggott

Amaranth is backing the Smartphone app to get our teams organised.

Theres nothing harder for our Team Managers than to organise fixtures, training and teams, and trying to manage it across Texts, WhatsApp, emails, phone calls and everything else just adds to the confusion.

That's why we're backing Heja!

Heja is an app that is completely free to download for your IOS or Android Devices (sorry Windows mobile users, its not available there!). Simple pop along to the Playstore or App Store and search for Heja.

Download the app and ask your Team Manager for your Team Code. This will give you access to your Teams profile on Heja.

Within the app, you can Chat, share and comment on posts, pictures and videos. You manager can also add fixtures, training sessions and other events to the schedule, and you can set your availability for each one, and there is a private chat function as well.

Parents can log in as parents and keep informed on information. Players can sign in as players to set their updates.

Give it a try today (and nag your team manager if they're not updating it!) and help us to make Amaranth the best club in Leeds for being organised and great to be part of.

NOTE: Heja is a social media app. Your team code will give you access to a private team area that only you and other players/parents on your team can access, however we encourage parents to use it responsibly. Heja does allow for private messaging between members of your own team which could include a mixture of junior players and adults. For players aged 16 and under, please consider if it is appropriate for them to have their own profile, or if it is better to manage a profile on their behalf.

Heja is better than private social media apps like WhatsApp, but care should always be taken to protect Junior members.
