Farewell to the Tags - See you in the U9's

WOW, that's it.... our time as U8's and playing with tags has ended and what a Season it has been.

We welcomed Ollie B, Sebastian, Theo D, Ieuan, Theo H, Jack Ma, Jack Mi, Archer, Ishaan, Jacob, Thomas, Ewan and Ethan to the team this Season.

Henry, Ollie L, Ollie B, Joseph, Noah, Thomas were all awarded Green Laces. In addition Ollie M was awarded laces by the Beckenham coaches at our joint training.

We attended many festivals, locally and at Saracens, Team activities and the end of season tour to the IOW, it’s been a busy season!

We’re not quite finished with the team activities, on Friday (10th May) the coaches have planned a end of season beverages. Parents (and grandparents Ade) are more then welcome to attend. Plan is 6-730 at Old Wilsonians before heading off to the Real Ale Way in Hayes. If you want to come, please let us know.

We also have our Camping Trip, details are below... it’s a weekend for all the family including siblings. Please let us know ASAP as we need to book this in the next week.

The New Zealand Rugby camp is also being held at the club in August. Please see the poster below for more details.

We will also try to have a summer bbq/meet-up over the summer so please keep a eye on slack/emails for messages over the next 4 months, the next newsletter will be in August.

Were always looking at ways to improve ourselves and communication is no different so if there is anything people want from their newsletter next season, please let us know. We will notify you of festivals for the first part of the season as soon as we have them confirmed.

All that is left to say is thank you for all your lovely gifts, they are really appreciated. Have a wonderful summer and we will see you all in September for our journey in the U9’s.

19th July - 21st July - U8's Go Camping
We are organising our first U8 family camping trip. Previously we have camped with multiple age groups (there still may be a minis camp), but we wanted a dedicated U8 camp. We are going to book Bedgebury camping, as it is a good price, loads of open space for the kids to run about, easy to get to and we are close to other amenities.
We will be looking to book this by the end of the month, so please confirm your attendance.

Confirmed so far are, OB, Edward, Jack Ma, Joseph, Ben and Toby K.

NZ Rugby Camp

The Kiwis are back in town from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2019.

This is an all inclusive camp, with loads of fun to be had, over 100 kids attended in 2018 learning rugby the kiwi way, and ensuring Beccehamian RFC commitment to delivering "Kids First" rugby. All kids received a t-shirt, certificate and a NZ gift pack.

Date: Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2019.
Timings: 9am-3pm
Cost: £150 for 5days (£30 per day), daily bookings available pro rata.
Venue: Beccehamian RFC, Sparrow's Den, West Wickham, Kent, BR4 9BB
