.

The Under 14s had a great weekend when they earned themselves a place in their South Belfast Youth League cup final after a 2-0 win over Carrick Rangers. It was a tight affair with the teams playing each other for the third time in a week. Ashton Thompson and Daniel Hayburn were on target for the Carniny boys to see them progress to the final.

Also in Semi final action were the U15s. Despite matching their Premier league opponents Crusaders they were undone by a late corner which when straight in to see the North Belfast boys progress with a 3-2 win. The boys can now concentrate on lifting their league title playing contenders Antrim Rovers on Monday night in a potential title decider.

Friday night SSGs continued for the U7s, 8s and 9s at the Ballymena IFA SSGs at the Showgrounds with the U11s in East Antrim GDC SSGs up at the Valley LC. Under 9s played in their Competition day in the Harry Gregg Foundation Youth League on Saturday.

The BSML Seniors played out a 1-1 draw with Raceview, whilst the BPL Team lost out to League Champions St James Swifts.

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

The clubs footballing centre has only one session remaining for this season and will take place the week after next with the centre taking an Easter break on the 20th April.
