A game of heart and pride, with an unfortunate result.

Chew Valley 2XV, 17 - Tor, 24

A great performance by the lads. The best of the season so far with players back, which really helped with the push towards getting a result but unfortunately resulted in defeat. The heart and pride from the lads was amazing. A massive Tor pack started well but once Chew got a grip of the game the second half saw much improvement. Tries from Marc Daly and Marcus Adams were converted by Alex Cameron and a penalty. Debut Ethan Smith, from the Colts, who didn't look out of place, and a first start for Harry Power who also played well. Everyone played exceptionally, with man of the match being awarded to Luke Trenemen, who was tackling strong in his first game back.
