Denbigh Town FC - Presentation Night

Denbigh Town FC held their annual Presentation Night last evening at the Plas Pigot Country Club for the three senior teams

Club chairman Shon Powell presented the following awards:-

Firsts top scorer - Mark Roberts
Firsts manager's player - Sam Downey
Firsts players' player - Scott McHarrie
Firsts supporters' player - Lewis Sirrell

Reserves top scorer - Andy Thomas
Reserves manager's player - Gwion Bibby
Reserves players' player - Jacob Parry
Reserves supporters' player - Lewis Jenner

Development top scorer - Ashley Andrews
Development manager's player - Josh Jones
Development players' player - Ross Slater

Club awards -Young Player of the Year -Owen Evans
Club awards - Clubman of the Year - Owen Thomas

Shon Powell thanked all the volunteers at the club and gave a special mention to Derek Hughes who had worked at Central Park for twenty five years as groundsman and handyman. Whilst being disappointed with the relegation of the first team the spirit was still good at the club and improvement and development would continue.Manager Dewi Llion would name his new assistant shortly. Roy Gunther [ photographer ] was thanked and is to be presented with a Curry's voucher as was player Gruff Jones who helps behind the scenes by creating the graphics for the Match Preview.
