Hibs continue to build on impressive league run!

Hibs welcomes Joiners Arms today looking to build on their recent run of wins.

The home team struggled to get the ball under control in the opening phases but soon got the ball under control and found the lead as Harry Davies fed Brandon Hoey to put the home side ahead. 1-0.

Despite taking the lead the home side struggles to get a hold of the game. 20 minutes in they managed to double their advantage, Aidan Foley with a nice run who found Harry Davies to finish. 2-0.

The goals soon started to pour in with smart finishes from Josh Johal and Brandon Hoey, for his second and third of the game, extending the home advantage to 5-0.

A complete defensive meltdown led to the away side scoring two goals in quick succession to bring the score back however a goal just before halftime from Alex Mitchell put the home side back in control. 6-2.

The Reserves came back out looking to make things happen in the second half and after nice play from Davies the ball was fed through to Ricci Goldswain to finish. Davies himself then was fouled in the box and slotted home from the penalty spot. 8-2.

Despite numerous chances to extend the lead in the last half hour the home side couldn’t find the back of the net again as the game finished Leam Hibs Reserves 8 - 2 Joiners Arms.
