Very Many Thanks.......
.......to those who were at Marley Court, Chorley, on Monday, 10th June. Our visit was much appreciated by the residents, and the organiser promises to invite us back. Well! Would you believe it?!!
Then to those who were available to help RS teach some Longsword Dancing to members of Preston Folk Dance Club + a handful of Scouts on 24th June. It was a somewhat lively evening and they certainly seemed to enjoy themselves. We ached with laughing at the contortions they got themselves into and it served to remind us that – to some people – simple things are not quite so simple!! (They may want us to go again!!!)

Pay-Off from Taster Day
As we’d hoped, it wasn’t such a disaster as may initially have been thought, thanks to the newspaper photographer having turned up. We had almost a half page of free advertising in the Lancashire Post of Tuesday, 28th May, and a full page in the Chorley/Leyland Guardian of the same date.
At some disgustingly early hour of the morning on Wednesday 29th Len and Mike presented themselves at Radio Lancashire for a recorded interview with Graham Liver. There have been a couple of reports from people who heard the interview replayed later in the day, and they seemed impressed. Let’s hope all this coverage stirs some interest locally.
