Our plans for a permanent new home for Maidenhead HC, as part of Claires Court’s new school campus proposals, will be decided at a meeting of the Maidenhead Area Development Management Panel on Wednesday 28 August 2019, 7pm, Desborough Theatre, Maidenhead Town Hall.

SUPPORT MAIDENHEAD HOCKEY CLUB

Over 2,000 people have written to the Council to support a new campus for Claires Court, including a great many members and supporters of Maidenhead Hockey Club.

Our proposals have also received support from Sport England on behalf of national sport governing bodies including;
- The Rugby Football Union
- The English Cricket Board
- The Football Association
- England Hockey

The proposals have also received no objection from;
- Highways
- Highways England
- Ecology
- The Environment Agency

Now it is up to the Council to decide.

We need your help to show the planning panel the important and valued role Maidenhead Hockey Club plays in the life of our community and the benefits our new home will bring.

Dave Taylor, Chair of Maidenhead Hockey Club, said:
“We are very excited about the prospect of moving to a permanent new home with first class sports facilities. We know how important this will be to help our club achieve greater success and attract a new generation of youngsters to play hockey. We also know that it’s not over until the final whistle is blown, and I’m sure our members will be with us on the night to show their support.”
