North Shields HC are on the look out for Male players of all abilities

Here at North Shields Hockey Club we are an engaging, family orientated and sociable hockey club, based just outside of Newcastle in a coastal town called Whitley Bay.

We currently have 2 Men's team, 1 Ladies team and a Under 16 Development side along with a thriving junior section which caters for all abilities.

We are currently looking for Men(aged 13 years+) to join the club. This can be experienced players, Beginners who have never held a hockey stick before or those who have had some time out from the sport and wish to return. We are looking to grow the sport in North Tyneside and create accessible opportunities for the community to enjoy Hockey.

We are based at Marden Bridge Middle School in Whitley Bay just a short walk from Monkseaton and Whitley Bay Metro Stations as well as being on a major bus route (308). We train on Tuesday nights 7.30pm - 9pm (We can also provide sticks for anyone that does not own one). Even if you just want to increase your fitness, learn a new skill or play in a team we have opportunities for all.

So if you or your Parent, Brother, Uncle, Grandparent, Cousin, Friends or Colleagues would like to give it a try please feel free to get in touch or come along to Marden Bridge.

We also have a large summer schedule planned for the off season that will include; beach hockey, mixed hockey, social events and pre-season training.
