Bangor took an early lead in this match and never looked back. Number 8 Andy Baston powered over the line. He was soon back on the score sheet off the back of a 5 metre scrum and crashed over for another try. Bridge then clawed their way back into the match with a try for winger Sion Owen, which was followed with a try from Conor Hughes, who snatched the ball at the back of a 5 metre line out to cross the line.

At half time the score stood at 12-10, but any hopes of a Bridge comeback were scuppered by Bangor's astute tactical play and ruthless execution. Calvin Williams extended Bangor's lead with a try, soon followed by one for Brian Butler. Bridge were pinned down in their half and were unable to break out, thanks to Bangor's dominance in set pieces and clever use of the conditions. The final score was a try for Dan Cranham, taking Bangor comfortably into the next round.
