Very strong performance from a confident team!

Pitshanger looked to bounce back from last weeks defeat and did so in style!

From the first whistle they took the game to Mill Hill, bombarding the away sides goal with attack after attack!
Nathan hit the post early on and Brandon saw a couple of efforts go just wide or blocked by MH defenders!
Pits were awarded a penalty after 6 minutes when Nathan was chopped down in the box.
Rohin was given the opportunity from the spot. He stepped up and hit a powerful strike, however the MH goalkeeper who was very impressive throughout guessed right and saved well.
When MH did get out of their own half, Aiden and Rohin were an impenetrable back two!
Pits thought they had scored when Harvey hit a great strike up onto the visitor’s crossbar, the ball bounced down on the line and out. From the resulting corner Martim shot just wide!
HT 0-0.
Into the second half and Pits continued to apply pressure. Gregor was battling hard in midfield, breaking up the MH play.
Pits finally took the lead when Brandon broke free of the defence. He struck a low shot, which the MH keeper could only parry and Nathan picked up the loose ball. A defender blocked his first shot, but his second found a gap to give the home side a deserved lead!
Pits created chance after chance and their second goal came from a kick from the Mill Hill keeper. The clearance was headed back by Martim and fell to Taran. He unleashed an unstoppable strike, which flew into the net. This capped a Man of the Match display from Taran who in the later stages covered every blade of grass, showing great commitment!
Pits sealed their impressive victory with 3 minutes to go. Martim, who as always bossed the middle of the park, played a ball out wide to Brandon, he ran to the goal line and crossed the ball into the box. Nathan controlled, side stepped a defender and expertly finished!
MH pushed for a consolation but found Noe in the home goal unbeatable, saving bravely on several occasions!
A fantastic performance from a team who continue to impress!
