Rugby Development Officer (RDO) Appointed

It is with great pleasure that Shelford Rugby Club can announce the appointment of Will Cotterill as the club’s first full-time Rugby Development Officer.

This adds to an exciting off-season at Shelford, with Will joining the club alongside the new coaching team of Paul Allen as Head Coach and Darron Moore as Assistant Head Coach.

Will, who was originally from Norfolk, is relocating with his family back from Australia after spending more than 20 years in the southern hemisphere, and will be bringing with him a wealth of experience to this role, having held a similar position with the NSW Waratahs.

Will will also offer a comprehensive understanding of the sport, and its opportunities and challenges at all echelons of the game, having played at an elite level with Saracens and as a player and coach at community level across a number of clubs in South Africa and Australia.

We look forward to Will’s arrival in August and extend a warm Peacock welcome to his wife and three children.
