Russell Holroyd leads his side into a National Cup Quarter Final tie against Pennine League opponents Upton tomorrow 2.00pm.
After home victories against Sharlston Rovers and Blackbrook, the draw was once again kind to Siddal with another home fixture - this time against Upton, who we played fairly regularly over a number of years during our Pennine League days. Upton reached the Yorkshire Cup final as recently as December, where they were beaten by NCL side Lock Lane, so this is going to be a test for the Siddal side.
Holroyd has already selected his 17 man squad and is hoping his young team will be bolstered by a large crowd as the only open age game at home over the weekend.
