Midfield Duo Move To Steelmen

This summer has seen the departure of two midfielders to neighbours Corby Town
First is Joe Burgess, who was leading goalscorer for the Daniels last season and manager player of the year.
He joined Stamford at the start of the 2017/18 but his first season was blighted with injury. Last season saw him scored 12 times and collected three supporter player of the month awards.
Second to leave for Steel Park is Jake Duffy. Jake joined the Daniels in November 2015 from Holbeach United. He played 172 competitive games for the Daniels and scored 19 times. Jake will go down in Stamford history as it was his free-kick that propelled the Stamford to the FA cup first round proper in 2016.
