Appointment of Andrea Sawyer as Club General Manager

We are delighted to announce the club’s Executive Committee has unanimously voted to appoint Andrea Sawyer as the club’s GM

Dear CRFC Member,

You may be aware that the club’s Executive Committee, supported by the Board has identified a need to appoint a General Manager to take on responsibility for managing the club on a day to day basis.

Appointing a General Manager is an important step forward for the club and so we have conducted an extensive recruitment process which attracted a high calibre of both internal and external candidates for the role.

After interviewing all suitable candidates, I am delighted to announce that the club’s Executive Committee has unanimously voted to appoint Andrea Sawyer as the club’s General Manager with immediate effect.

Andrea has had extensive managerial experience in both private and public sector catering & hospitality roles. More recently, Andrea has been highly successful in her role as CRFC’s Catering Manager, winning frequent praise for the planning and management of club events as well as the quality of food provided by herself and her kitchen team.

I’m sure that you will wish to join me in congratulating Andrea on her new role and we look forward to working with Andrea to help achieve our ambition of becoming one of the leading amateur rugby clubs in the South West.
