Cill Dara Foxes - Disability Rugby

By Robert Doyle

Cill Dara RFC is looking for new members, boy & girls, ages 7 to 18, who cannot play or struggle with mainstream rugby.

The Cill Dara Foxes is a new team within the club focused on the development of tag rugby for those with intellectual disabilities in Kildare and surrounding areas. The club is hoping to provide opportunities to a range of players and to ensure principles of inclusion are embedded within coaching and player development resulting in more people gaining access to the game of rugby.

First training session is on Saturday June 24th in Cill Dara RFC at 10:00 a.m. and all sessions are supervised by qualified coaches.

The initiative is fully supported by Irish Rugby and Leinster Rugby.
