Next season's National League Line Up complete

By Steve Jinman

Following the weekend's play off final action, the Magpies now know who they will be facing next season.

The National League, which will have a new title sponsor next season in Motorama, completed its roster with the conclusion of yesterday's regional play offs. The constitution will be formally verified at the National League AGM on June 8th.
Joining National League North champions Stockport County are play off winners Chorley, whilst in the South Woking follow title winners Torquay United in bouncing straight back from relegation.
Salford City's win at Wembley on Saturday means they will join Leyton Orient in the bottom division of the Football League next season. Coming the other way are Yeovil Town and Notts County.
Maidenhead have faced all the division's newcomers before with the exception of fellow Magpies Notts County and Chorley.
Woking are age-old opponents with the first meeting between the clubs coming in 1931. Conversely, Maidenhead's only matches against Torquay came in our first National League season in 2016/17, both ending in defeat to the Gulls. That season also saw Maidenhead face Stockport home and away in an FA Trophy tie which ended in replay defeat at Edgeley Park.
Finally Yeovil Town were drawn twice against Maidenhead in cup competitions during both of the Glovers' brief Isthmian League spells in 1985 and 1997. Maidenhead won both ties, the latter in Alan Devonshire's first season at the club, en route to Isthmian Full Members Cup Final glory.
