Rosie Sillett to offer a sports massage service to help you ease those aching muscles after a tough workout or just to relax your body and mind and reduce those stress levels a little.

Rosie trained with the London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy. She decided to look into sports massage after spending years competing in sports and having suffered from muscular injuries herself. She became very interested in how the muscles in her body worked and found that being able to learn in-depth about the body and how it reacts to massage was incredible and wanted to assist others in reaching their full potential.

Sports Massage Therapy – How Can It Benefit You?

Sports massage therapy isn’t only geared towards athletes – it’s something everybody can benefit from. Whether you are a recreational or competitive athlete, desk-bound, or a parent, Rosie can tailor a treatment to suit your needs.

Remedial massage is a deep soft tissue treatment used to address specific problems. A range of hands-on techniques will be used with the aim to facilitate a change to the soft tissue layers, from superficial to deep with the primary goal is to reduce your pain.

Sports massage is designed to help you prepare your body for optimal performance, function well during training or recover after a big event. You will notice that sports massage promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, helps prevent injuries and prepares the body and mind for optimal performance.

Rosie also specialises in pregnancy massage, which helps to relieve some discomfort & pain due to the release of endorphins and oxytocin during the massage.
