Next league lunch is on 16th Feb - come down and make dry January a distant memory

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you all had a great Christmas and that you survived the endurance event that was previously known as the Christmas luncheon. Rest assured that next years event will take into account all weather conditions but alas that will come at an additional price.

Indeed with price in mind we have recently looked at the costs of the luncheon as for the last couple of years we have been utilising the auction to help cover the cost of the lunch and the subsidiary cost of waiting and bar staff. This has been exacerbated by the number of no shows on the day and the fact that unbelievably some people do not pay for the meal!

As such it is with much regret that I must inform you that the cost of the luncheon will rise to £15 per person with immediate effect. I hope that you agree that this still represents great value for a three course lunch. Furthermore, it enables us to break even on the event and any monies raised from the auction go into club funds which helps ensure that we can continue to provide the facilities and environment to allow young and old to play and watch this fantastic game.

With this in mind can I take this opportunity to invite you to the next league luncheon on Saturday 16th February. Rest assured this will be in the warmth of the clubhouse and will be followed by a cracking game for the 1st XV who are playing the current second placed Sandown and Shanklin. If it could not get any better our Bognor A’s will be playing at home against old rivals Chichester!

Please come down and enjoy the day and bring friends and family. Places are limited to 90 so lets try and get a full house for the first lunch of the new year.
