Seven volunteers completely the RFU First Aid Course, alongside many who did this 18 months ago now sees all junior sides covered, well done - Anouska Hamer, Amanda Jenkins, Selina Finnan, Simon Finnan, John Hutchinson, Jason Bell & Lottie Knowles.

On 22nd June - Three Coaches will attend the Kids First Conference at AJ Bell stadium, hopefully get great ideas for next season and beyond. Tks Lottie Knowles, Ben Healy, Ryan Bradley.

Into July, and just before schools break there will be a parents meeting, children run round and hopefully weather permitting the water slide will be out - 7th JULY at 10am (meeting start at 10.30am).

Juniors Continue to stay active with the U14'S upwards attending Strength & Conditioning at Lean Training Centre on Monday evening, and the U11's doing team exercise on same night..

All can take part and have fun at O2 Touch Rugby on Wednesday evening in Towneley Park 7pm - 8pm.

The same location where 14 youngsters on Sunday 16 June completed the 2K park run a great fun and free activity on every Sunday at 9am - good for your son and daughter to aid fitness in Rugby.

Throughout the school holidays there are also dates and times for Rugby Camps Age 5 - 13, Contact Simon 07988122186 for more information.

Finally a great honour for the club and individuals has Jason Bell & Simon Finnan have both been nominated for Coach of the Year at the Burnley Community Awards, alongside the girls section nominated for Community Project of the Year all announced on Thursday 18th July.

All good activities going on and still room for more players and volunteers so anyone out there age 6 - 17 who have thought about rugby, parents or guardians give us a call and I'll make sure you get involved in Rugby Union.
