U16 East District Success at the 2018 Notts Sport Inter-District Scottish Hockey tournament

East District U16 Girls squad won this year's U16 Girls Notts Sport Inter-District Scottish Hockey tournament. Like U14 in May 2018, Edinburgh Hockey Club U16s were well represented with 9 girls in the squad and 2 girls in the training squad. The girls went through 2 trials before being selected for the training squad which, after a much shorter but no less intense couple of weeks of training, was whittled down to a squad of 18 for the tournament.

And a big shout out to our Ladies 1s and U14s coach, Ian Chapman for taking on the role of East U16 Girls Coach, and being incredibly patient (and less shouty than normal) in coaching and supporting the girls through to their victory!
