WEEKEND ROUND UP SAT 20th APRIL 2019

.

The Under 15s enjoyed some mid week delight last week with the young Carniny boys clinching their South Belfast Youth League title after a draw with chasing rivals, Antrim Rovers. Sitting top of the league before the crunch match last week, Davy Hanna’s boys knew a draw would be enough to see them crowned champions and despite having a depleted squad and stand in goal keeper the boys did the business. They now have one more league game to play when they will receive their league trophy.

The Under 14s have a league Cup Final to look forward to against Shankill Utd this Saturday (27th) at Seaview.

The U11s have a semi final against Bloomfield on the same day, setting up a potential mini derby final against Ballymena Utd at the Oval on Sunday 5th May should they manage to progress.

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
The Football Development Centre returns this Saturday 27th with its final session of its latest 10 week block at its usual venue of st Louis Grammar School. Preparations are already ongoing for the Football Development Centre end of season function which will be at the Adair Arms Hotel at 2pm on the 15th June when a finger buffet will be available for children and parents/guests alike with a gift for all centre participants. Tickets for this function will be available soon.
