Sphinx Under 15s in Cup Final action

On Friday night, we have another Coventry Sphinx Junior team competing in the final of the Bedworth Nursing Cup. Dave Rogers will be taking his Coventry Sphinx Under 15s squad to the Bedworth Oval on Friday evening to compete against Athletic United for the Bedworth Nursing Cup Under 15s trophy.

Team manager Dave Rogers recently told the Nursing Football Association Cup Finals Magazine: “For the entire Sphinx family, team and supporters, it is a proud moment to be competing for the historical Bedworth Nursing Cup. Having lost two semi-finals last year, the boys were determined not to miss out again and we were all delighted when at last their efforts paid off.

None of this would be possible without the enormous efforts from the coaches, parents and supporters, all of who have helped towards this evening. Many thanks must also go to our sponsors the “Jimmy Hill Foundation” for their continued support. Also many thanks to the Sphinx family as a whole for the continued efforts to improve the facilities which allows the boys to flourish.”

Kick-off is 7.30pm at the Bedworth Oval, Coventry Road, Bedworth, CV12 8NN on Friday 5th April. Admission is £3 for Adults, £2 Concession and £1 for children.
