1st Team Manager Appointment

Cwmffrwdoer Sports Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Lewis as our new 1st Team Manager.

37 Year old Daniel joins us after a very successful managerial spell with Wainfelin Bluebirds, he played a major part in the creation and set up of the Wainfelin Club, winning back to back titles and promotions in his first 3 seasons before finishing 3rd in Gwent County 3 two seasons ago.

Daniels playing career started at Cwmbran Celtic as a youngster winning many junior titles and cups, he broke into the 1st team as a 16 year old and ended up with 12 Senior seasons under his belt for Celtic , and was part of the GC side that were promoted into the Welsh League 3.

Daniel moved up to join Pontypool side the Race captaining the side for 2 Seasons before taking up his Managerial role at Wainfelin Bluebirds.

One of the most competitive Men this side of the Severn Bridge, impressed us with his winning mentality and attitude to pushing himself toward new challenges and the next step in his career as a Gwent County Div 1 Manager.

The combination of Daniels age, obvious desire to achieve and Management experience thus far made him the stand out choice for us.

Daniel we welcome you to the Doer and wish you well with the full support of the Committee and officials at the club.
