Falkland 148 for 2
(E Sloan 60 not out, L Robertson 38 not out)
Glenrothes 71 for 7
Falkland Won by 77 Runs
In conditions that were hardly suitable for cricket, Falkland defeated Glenrothes at Gilvenbank on Wednesday night in the Fife Cup played under the new regulations of 10 x 10 ball Overs. That part of the evening was a success in that the game was speeded up to a considerable extent, but the cricket was very one-sided with Sloan and Robertson effectively batting a very weak Glenrothes side out of the game, and Glenrothes never looking vaguely like reaching Falkland's total. Falkland have now "played" three and won three in this competition with both Dunnikier and Largo having conceded. The last game in the section is against Freuchie on June 25.
